Maintenance

Diving--this is something new that I didn't have to do on my Catalina 22.  I could simply pull her out of the water, powerwash the bottom, and put on 3 coats of bottom paint every 8 months.  With Sojourner, I am going to contract with Palmetto Diving to scrub her bottom on a regular basis.  Because of fouling in the southern U.S., it will be necessary to have a diver scrub the bottom about once a month.  In the winter, I may be able to go for about six weeks.  We shall see how it goes.
